The five products everyone should have in their “tool box” at home or on the road to keep them healthy, strong and flexible everyday.

1. Long Theraband

Therabands (like a spring in the studio) are wonderful for both strengthening and stretching. Example, laying your back stretching your hamstrings with a theraband around your foot, supporting your quads and hip flexors while the hamstring stretches. Then taking the stretch into single leg circles, while using your core to stabilize the pelvis. Also, tons of great strengthen exercises can be done using a theraband.

2. Trigger Point Ball

The trigger point balls are the best. Put it where you hurt or have discomfort, they break up adhesions, stimulate blood flow and restore mobility. Try one up against the wall too. Remember find your spot, hold, breathe and release. And do it again and again until mobility returns. .

3. Foam Roller

Foam rollers are available in different densities and wonderful for releasing tissue, balance, postural and core work. Softer ones are great for sinking into tissue a little deeper because they give. I like harder ones for postural feedback. For example, lay on one vertically and notice where your spine is in contact with the roller and where it is not. Hundreds of exercises can be performed on rollers.

4. Yamuna Foot Wakers

You’ve been on your feet all day. Want a foot massage? Wonderful for keeping your feet flexible and strong. Remember your feet are your foundation to your strong body. In addition to stimulating circulation, releasing and strengthening your feet can help with hip and back pain. Excellent for preventing or relieving bunions, fallen arches, plantar fasciitis and many other foot issues.

5. Loop Bands

These bands come in different resistance levels. Love these for glutes, glutes and more glutes.
