Our Teen Sports Fitness classes are designed to help young athletes hold on to the fitness they’ve worked so hard during the school year to attain. Additionally, we’ll teach them how to properly stretch, helping them avoid injury when they return to their sports next fall. We’ve been working with high school volleyball, basketball and lacrosse players, as well as cyclists and track-and-field athletes, all of whom are impressed by the results. Specifically, they have noticed increased strength, vertical jump, body awareness and flexibility.
Whether your teen competes in soccer, lacrosse, Nordic skiing, tennis or other sports, this class will keep them from losing fitness over the summer and prepare them for the rigors of practice in the fall. Teen Sports Fitness classes run June 21 through August 30 on Tuesdays from noon to 1 p.m. Cost is $195 for the series with one makeup class. Drop-ins are welcome for $22 each.
