We are thrilled to be celebrating ten years of providing certified Pilates instruction in Bend, and we hope you’ll join us for our 10th Anniversary Party at the Bend Pilates studio on Friday, March 9. This open house celebration will kick off with an Athleta Trunk Show at 5 p.m., and we’ll be serving free food and drinks, as well as screening “A Movement of Movement,” a documentary about the Pilates philosophy and lifestyle.
Founded by Debby Bowen in 2008, Bend Pilates is the city’s most established studio, and features more than 30 group classes per week as well as private sessions. The instructors at Bend Pilates hold a number of certifications from Pilates Method Alliance, STOTT, Balanced Body and Barre.
“I am so grateful for all of our wonderful clients who have inspired and supported us throughout the past ten years,” says Debby. “Bend Pilates originally opened as Rebound Pilates in a tiny, 300-square-foot corner office of Rebound Physical Therapy’s westside location. We quickly outgrew that space, and currently live in over 2,500 square feet filled with state-of-the-art Pilates equipment, TRX suspension training and a ballet barre. All of us at Bend Pilates believe that Pilates and mindful movement can positively change lives. I am truly fortunate to love what I do, and excited to keep sharing my knowledge of the body and mindful movement with our amazing community.”
We can’t wait to celebrate with you this Friday, March 9, between 5 and 9 p.m. Feel free to pop in anytime that evening that works for you. Your RSVP helps us plan.
